Kobi right
Jacob (Kobi) law ( Hebrew יעקב (קובי) רכט), also Jakob Recht (he .: יעקב רכט) or Coby Recht (he .: קובי רכט), (born September 20, 1947 ) is an Israeli actor and musician .
Life
Right grew up in Zahala , near Tel Aviv . At the age of nine he played in the children's theater Tilon in the village of Tlil . At the age of thirteen he played in the play Julius Caesar in the Israeli National Theater Habimah . From 1961 to 1965 he appeared in various performances in the youth theater.
At the age of sixteen he founded the band "Kobi Recht we-Cochawej halechet" (he .: קובי רכט וכוכבי הלכת; German: Kobi Recht and the planets ), one of the earliest bands in Israel. The band achieved great success. He graduated from the "Gymnasium of Freedom". During his military service, he played military music in the Lahakat Pikud ha-Merkas (German: Central Military Band) . There he appeared as a soloist and became known with his song Giwat ha-Tachmoschet (he .: גבעת המחמשת; German: Battle of the Munitions Hill ). It was there that he met his future wife Iris Yotvat (born August 26, 1949).
In 1968 he recorded his first album Songs by Sascha Argow (he .: שירי סשה ארגוב) together with the singer Edna Goren . In 1969 he appeared in the cabaret show Ketchup by Hanoch Levin . In 1970 he became friends with Kobi Oschrat (he .: קובי אשרת; born July 15, 1944). The two of them then released their album Why Now (he: למה עכשיו), which became a huge hit on the radio. Over time, the two made friends with Chanan Jowel, who was the third of the band Schoweweji Zion (he .: שובבי ציון). The group of musicians was voted Band of the Year in 1970. In the same year the band received the "Kinor David Award in Art & Entertainment". At the end of 1972 he traveled to Europe with his wife and Kobi Oschrat. Together they formed the “Virgo” ensemble. In 1977 Recht and Yotvat wrote a futuristic disco musical. Menachem Golan translated the musical into English and made it a movie. In 1980 it came out as the movie Ha-Tapuach (German Star Rock ). In 1978 he starred in a film by Awi Nescher .
In 1983 he released the album Rumor ; from this the song Reggae ha-Batlan (he .: רגאי הבטלן; Eng .: Reggae of a good-for-nothing ) became a great success. In 1986 he moved to Los Angeles . Despite the many years he spent abroad, Recht came to Israel repeatedly to perform and record on the radio. In 1993 he returned to Israel. He founded the band “Ha-Hu” (he .: ההו he) with Jossi Sade . The two created and released a new album Neged ha-Lew (he .: נגד הלב; eng .: Against the heart ).
In the 1980s, Recht separated from his wife Yotvat. You have a son, Tom.
