Kobylany is a village in the powiat Biała Podlaska in the Polish Lublin Voivodeship and has been the seat of the Terespol municipality since January 2014 . Until 2013, this had its seat in Terespol , which gave it its name , but which did not belong to the municipality. From 1975 to 1988 the village belonged to the Biała Podlaska Voivodeship , which was dissolved as part of an administrative reform. The village has about 500 inhabitants. Kobylany is on the Warsaw – Brest railway line .
