Kōji Moriyama

Kōji Moriyama ( Japanese 森 山 浩 二 , Moriyama Kōji ; * 1946 ) is a Japanese pop and jazz musician ( vocals , conga ).

Moriyama recorded some pop songs like Boku no Marshmallow-chan ( 僕 の マ シ ュ マ ロ ち ゃ ん ; 1964) in the 1960s . Under his own name he released the albums Night and Day ( Three Blind Mice , 1976) and Smile (TBM 1977), on which he was accompanied by the Tsuyoshi Yamamoto Trio (with Nobuyoshi Ino , bass and Tetsujiro Obara , drums). In June 1979 the live recording Live at Misty was made in the jazz club of the same name in Tokyo's Roppongi district. He was accompanied by Kenji Kosei (piano), Masayuki Takayanagi (guitar), Yasuhito Mori (bass) and Takeshi Watanabe (drums). His repertoire consisted largely of popular pop and jazz standards such as " All of Me ", " Days of Wine and Roses ", " Our Love Is Here to Stay ", " 'S Wonderful " and " There'll Never Be Another You ".
