Kokologho is a commune (commune rurale) and also a department in the Boulkiemdé province of the Center-Ouest region of the West African state of Burkina Faso . In addition to the main town Kokologho, the municipal area includes the villages of Basziri, Douré, Goulouré, Koulnatenga, Manéga, Nidaga, Pitmoaga, Sakoinsé and Sam and has 38,988 inhabitants.
In Kokologho is the Na-Yiri palace of Moogho Naba , the emperor of the Mossi . This palace was built by Naba Boulgou in 1942. The flute players from the village are well known.
