Nanoro is both a commune ( commune rurale in French ) and a department encompassing the same area in the West African state of Burkina Faso , in the Center-Ouest region and in the Boulkiemdé province . The municipality has 33,291 inhabitants in 14 villages and four sectors of the main town.
