Kollegium Kalksburg (music group)
The Trio Kollegium Kalksburg was founded in 1996 by Heinz Ditsch , Paul Skrepek and Wolfgang Vincenz Wizlsperger . The three Viennese musicians performed for the first time in HERZ.TON.WIEN Festival and dedicated to the "New Viennese songs ".
Band name
The name of the band plays with the Viennese “ Kalksburg ” (which usually refers to the local Anton Proksch Institute ), but also with the name of the nearby Jesuit high school Kollegium Kalksburg .
Kollegium is also the historical name for a "group of music lovers".
Awards
- Austrian Film Award Category Best Music 2011:
Her work on Andreas Prochaska's film comedy The Unintentional Abduction of Ms. Elfriede Ott (2010) earned Kollegium Kalksburg the first ever Austrian Film Prize in 2011 .
