The College for Technologies and Design Vilnius (lit. Vilniaus technologijų ir dizaino kolegija , VTDK) is a state university in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . The college is located in the Antakalnis district and has four faculties. There are 19 courses. 215 university lecturers work in the college, eleven lecturers, 193 lecturers and eleven assistants; 22 have doctorates.

history

In 1922 the Vilniaus technikos draugija association founded a technical school at the Žygimantas Augustas High School . In 1939 it became a technical center and in 1947 a polytechnic . Today's university was created on July 23, 2008 from two universities ( College for Technology Vilnius and College for Building and Design Vilnius ). Since September 1st, 2008 she is Vilniaus technologijų ir dizaino kolegija . In 2010 there were 3,327 students and 400 employees. In 2013, 1,280 students were accepted.
