The Kolleisen ( Norwegian for hill ice ) is a 27 km long and 18 km wide glaciated area in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located in the western foothills of the Sør Rondane .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1988.
