Commissioner Wisting (original title: Wisting ) is a Norwegian crime television series based on the novel series of the same name by the Norwegian author Jørn Lier Horst . The focus is on Detective Inspector William Wisting and his daughter, the journalist Line Wisting.

Shortly before Christmas, the body of an unknown man is found near the Norwegian port city of Larvik . One piece of evidence shows traces of a US serial killer, so two FBI agents are called in to assist the investigators. Is the dead person the serial killer or another victim of his?
