Jørn Lier Horst

Jørn Lier Horst (born February 27, 1970 in Bamble , Telemark ) is a Norwegian author . Today he lives in the small coastal town of Stavern in southern Norway. He was chief detective in the Vestfold police district and worked there as an investigator . He is therefore familiar with the milieu and the methods he describes in his novels. Since September 2013 he has only been working as an author. In 2019, the series Kommissar Wisting , based on his novels, was broadcast.
