Social Security and Health Commissions
The Commissions for Social Security and Health (SGK) are subject area commissions of the Swiss Parliament .
Each Chamber of Parliament has its own Commission for Social Security and Health, which is why it is always specified in common usage which commission it is. The National Council's commission for social security and health is called SGK-N, that of the Council of States is called SGK-S.
Your task is to provide preliminary advice on legislation in the following areas:
- Social insurance , old-age provision ( unemployment insurance : only in the Council of States)
- social care
- Family social policy
- Health care , health policy , health promotion, accident and disease prevention
- Remedies
- Narcotics and addictive substances
- Food (health protection) and poisons
