Mödershöf

Mödershöf is a small town in the market town of Schweiggers in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Mödershöf was first mentioned in a document in 1499 under the name Meteshoff and is located at 660 meters. Mödershöf consists of two houses. Mödershöf belonged to the municipality of Jagenbach until 1970, then to the municipality of Zwettl and in 1972 the place was added to Schwiggers. Mödershöf is known for the annual Thayaquellenfest .
