Unterwindhag is a village and a cadastral municipality of the Schweiggers municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 45 building areas with 27,635 m² and 10 gardens on 4,675 m² in the cadastral community Unterwindhag , in 1989/1990 there were 48 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 95 and in 2009/2010 there were 63 buildings on 98 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. At the turn of the year 1979/1980, 253 hectares were used for agriculture and 53 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 255 hectares and 51 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 251 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 50 hectares. The average soil climate of Unterwindhag is 26.4 (as of 2010).
