Limbach is a locality and a cadastral municipality of the Schweiggers community in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 91 building areas with 32,122 m² and 31 gardens on 6,637 m² in the cadastral municipality of Limbach , in 1989/1990 there were 84 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 186 and in 2009/2010 there were 135 buildings on 264 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 317 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 94 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 306 hectares and 98 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 292 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 100 hectares. The average soil climate number of Limbach is 29.8 (as of 2010).
