Großreichenbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Schweiggers community in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 52 building areas with 23,943 m² and 16 gardens on 9,003 m² in the cadastral community Großreichenbach , in 1989/1990 there were 39 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 76 and in 2009/2010 there were 62 buildings on 117 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 348 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 114 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 329 hectares and 132 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 318 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 133 hectares. The average soil climate of Großreichenbach is 23 (as of 2010).
