Perndorf is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Schweiggers community in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 40 building areas with 18,579 m² and 6 gardens on 1,015 m² in the cadastral community of Perndorf , in 1989/1990 there were 28 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 73 and in 2009/2010 there were 44 buildings on 84 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 227 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 92 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 222 hectares and 95 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 214 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 98 hectares. The average soil climate number of Perndorf is 27.4 (as of 2010).
