Commodore Rolin class
The Commodore Rolin class was a series of six pilot station ships that were built in the 1950s and 1960s for the Federal Ministry of Transport at the Meyer shipyard in Papenburg and at the Schichau shipyard in Bremerhaven.

- Commodore Rolin , commissioned in 1958, deployed in the Elbe estuary
- Gotthilf Hagen , commissioned in 1959, deployed in the Weser estuary
- Captain Hilgendorf , commissioned in 1960, deployed in the Elbe estuary
- Captain Bleeker , commissioned in 1963, deployed in the Ems estuary
- Captain König , commissioned in 1963, deployed in the Weser estuary
- Commodore Ruser , commissioned in 1964, deployed in the Elbe estuary
The ships were 55.1 m long and 9.5 m wide. They had a maximum draft of 4.0 m. They were the forward base of the sea pilots, who were brought to the incoming ships in transfer boats and from them back to the station ships. The station ships were gradually replaced by new ships with Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull at the beginning of the 21st century .
