Local elections in Schleswig-Holstein

The local elections in Schleswig-Holstein take place every five years . Since 2008 there is no longer a five percent hurdle due to a successful lawsuit by the regional association of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen before the Federal Constitutional Court .
