Komuniga Island (English; Bulgarian остров Комунига ostrow Komuniga ) is an icy, southeast-northwest orientation 1.3 km long and 1.1 km wide island 1.3 km off the Graham coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is the southernmost of the Correo Islands in Bigo Bay and is located southwest of the Magnier Peninsula and 0.5 km southeast of Baurene Island .
British scientists mapped it in 1971. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2015 after the town of Komuniga in southern Bulgaria .
