The Conference of Swiss Conservationists (KSD) is an association to represent the interests of the nationwide concerns of monument and site preservation vis-à-vis the public as well as at the federal and cantonal level . The KSD tries to influence the institutional and political framework conditions in favor of the preservation of monuments in Switzerland.

As members are senior cantonal and municipal heritage conservation specialist units in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein incorporated whose membership no later than the departure from the function goes out. The KSD currently has 34 members, the heads of the cantonal departments, the heads of the monument preservation offices of six cities as well as those responsible for the federal monuments. President is Daniel Schneller, cantonal monument conservator of the canton of Basel-Stadt .

Further goals are the promotion of professional training and the development of uniform principles for monument conservation practice in coordination with the Federal Office of Culture and the Federal Commission for the Preservation of Monuments and the Federal Commission for Nature and Heritage Protection .
