Congress Center Prague
The Prague Congress Center (in Czech Kongresové centrum Praha ) is one of the most important European congress centers . It is in the Czech capital Prague in the district of Nusle in Nuselský most and the metro station Vyšehrad the C metro line .
The congress center has 50 halls, lounges and meeting rooms. The largest hall has a maximum capacity of 2764 seats. The congress building was built between 1976 and 1981 in the functionalism style. When it was inaugurated in 1981, it was named Kulturpalast ( Palác kultury in Czech ), and in 1995 it was given its current name.
Today congresses, exhibitions and concerts take place there.
