The Kongskilde Industries A / S is an investment manufacturer based in Denmark Soro , who has worked in the areas of grain storage and industrial plant construction. The Danish cooperative DLG was 100% owner of Kongskilde Industries A / S from 2007 to 2016.

history

Kongskilde was founded in 1949 by Mogens Petersen and Hans Tyndeskov. The production of grain blowers started at that time. In 1956, the construction of spring-tine harrows started working in the soil. In 1997 the seed drill manufacturer Becker from Gieselwerder was taken over. In 1998, the Swedish plow manufacturer Överum was taken over by the Electrolux Group; Its beginnings are in 1654. In 2000, the manufacturers Howard and Nordsten were taken over, as well as shares in the Tim machine factory. The turnover in 2008 was 928 million Danish kroner (around 124 million euros), in the crisis year 2009 it was 735 million Danish crowns (around 99 million euros). In September 2011 Kongskilde took over the grassland technology from the manufacturer JF . In a press release from March 2015, Kongskilde announced that it would in future only market its products under the Kongskilde brand. The other brands are no longer sold. In June 2015, the closure of the JF plant in Sønderborg was announced and production was relocated to Poland. The sale of the agricultural machinery division to CNH Industrial with two plants in Poland and Sweden was announced in October 2016. The acquisition was completed on January 31, 2017.
