The Kongur Jiubie (also Kongur Tiube ) is a mountain in the Pamir Mountains in the Xinjiang autonomous region of the People's Republic of China .
The 7530 m high mountain is located in the western part of the Kongur Shan massif in the Kyrgyz Autonomous District of Kizilsu . The Kongur Jiubie is 10.52 km west-northwest of the Kongur . The Kongur Jiubie is connected to this via a mountain ridge. The 6,720 m high Kongur saddle is located between the two peaks. The Karakol Lake, located on the Karakoram Highway , is 20 km southwest of the mountain.
Kongur Jiubie was first climbed on August 16, 1956 by a Soviet-Chinese expedition led by Yevgeny Belezki .
