The Konrad-Adenauer-Brücke is a road bridge between the Essen districts of Rellinghausen and Überruhr-Hinsel . It leads as an extension of the four-lane Marie-Juchacz-Straße with footpath and bike path over the Ruhr and connects it in Rellinghausen to the federal road 227 .
history
The Ruhr Bridge, opened to traffic in 1975, was named after the first Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany on February 17, 1982 .
Technical specifications
The Konrad-Adenauer-Brücke is located at Ruhr kilometer 41.3 and is divided into a southern and a northern road bridge made of prestressed concrete , the northern river bridge having a total length of 301.16 meters and the southern flood bridge a length of 276.96 meters.
The bridge board, the abutments of which are up to 31.93 meters wide, has two-lane carriageways in each direction of travel, with a footpath and cycle path on the southern side. The field widths of the total of 14 bridge fields vary between 27.3 and 44.7 meters.
