Konrad Bihl

Konrad Bihl (born March 4, 1898 in Stuttgart , † 1971 ) was a German physician and medical professional politician .

Career

Konrad Bihl received his doctorate from the University of Tübingen in 1922 . From 1916 he was a member of the Catholic student union AV Guestfalia Tübingen . After 1945 he was co-founder and chairman of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in the French-occupied part of Württemberg (Südwürttemberg-Hohenzollern). In 1951 he was elected second chairman of the working group of the state offices of the statutory health insurance associations (later the federal association of statutory health insurance physicians ), a function that he held until 1966.

In 1966 he was awarded the Paracelsus Medal of the German medical profession.
