The Konrad Brook is an approximately 90 km long tributary of the Labrador Sea in the northeast of the Labrador Peninsula in the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador .

River course

The Konrad Brook forms the outflow of a nameless lake about 420  m high. The Konrad Brook initially flows about 6 km south before turning east. It then flows almost dead straight through a deeply cut valley along a fault . At river kilometer 80.5 there is a 3.1 m high waterfall. Between river kilometers 64 and 53 the Konrad Brook flows through an up to 950 m wide nameless lake, which represents a river broadening. At river kilometer 3.2 km there is a 9.2 m high waterfall. This is probably an insurmountable obstacle for migratory fish . The Konrad Brook finally flows into the south bank of Voisey's Bay , 38 km south-southwest of Nain . The catchment area of Konrad Brook covers 569 km². About 7 km further south, the course of the Kogaluk River runs almost parallel for a distance of over 60 km.

Fish fauna

Arctic char is believed to be found on the lower 3.2 kilometers of the Konrad Brook .
