Konrad Dussel

Konrad Dussel (born November 13, 1957 in Speyer ) is a German media historian . He teaches as a private lecturer ( apl. Prof. ) for modern history at the University of Mannheim .

Konrad Dussel received his doctorate in Heidelberg in 1987 with a thesis on National Socialist theater policy. Before his appointment to Mannheim, he was a research assistant at the German Broadcasting Archive . His main research interests are radio and press history as well as south-west German regional history, which he publishes in Verlag Regionalkultur .
