Konrad Fünfstück (born October 7, 1980 in Bayreuth ) is a German football coach .
Career
Fünfstück ended his football career at the age of 19 due to several serious knee injuries. He worked as a coach at VfB Pößneck , SV Weidenberg and SpVgg Greuther Fürth . Fünfstück worked for over ten years in the junior performance center of Greuther Fürth and during this time was among other things junior coordinator. He also coached the Franconian U-23s in the regional league from 2011 .
On January 1, 2013, Fünfstück took over the sporting management of the youth performance center of 1. FC Kaiserslautern , the Fröhnerhof . He was also the coach of the U-23 of the FCK, which competed in the Regionalliga Südwest . On September 23, 2015, he became the head coach of the FCK first team, which played in the 2nd Bundesliga . His contract ran until June 30, 2017. He finished the 2015/16 season with the team in tenth place, a few days later on May 20, 2016, he was released from his duties at FCK. For the 2017/18 season, Konrad Fünfstück signed a two-year contract with the Swiss second division club FC Wil . He was released there in March 2019, followed by Ciriaco Sforza . For the 2019/20 season, Fünfstück received a contract with Werder Bremen's second team , which plays in the Regionalliga Nord .
