Konrad Illing

Konrad Illing (born March 16, 1939 in Narsdorf ; † June 18, 2012 in Gera ) was a German politician ( LDPD and CDU ) and from 1990 to 2004 a member of the Thuringian state parliament .

Illing was a trained farmer and graduate engineer. He belonged to the Thuringian state parliament in the 1st to 3rd electoral term (1990 to 2004) as a directly elected member of the Saale-Holzland-Kreis II constituency . In the state parliament he was chairman of the committee for federal and European affairs from 1992 to 1994. From 1990 he was a member of the board of trustees of the State Center for Civic Education Thuringia . Illing was married and has a biological daughter from two marriages.
