Konrad Kohlhammer
Konrad Kohlhammer (born November 15, 1932 , † April 28, 2011 ) was a German publisher and owner of the Konradin media group .
Life
Kohlhammer studied business administration and then joined the family-owned printing house Robert Kohlhammer oHG, founded in 1929. From 1969 to 2004 he was the managing director. He built the family business into Konradin-Verlag Robert Kohlhammer GmbH, later the Konradin group of companies based in Leinfelden-Echterdingen . After converting to a stock corporation , he moved to the supervisory board in 2004.
He is the founder and namesake of the Konrad Kohlhammer Foundation .
