Konrad Püning

Konrad Püning (born February 16, 1947 ) was District Administrator of the Coesfeld district from October 1, 2004 to October 20, 2015 . He is a member of the CDU .

Career

From 1984 to 2004, the graduate in administration was a member of the Coesfeld district council and since 1987 chairman of the CDU district parliamentary group. Also from 1987 to October 2015 he was a member of the CDU district committee by virtue of office.

From October 1, 2004 to October 20, 2015 he was District Administrator of the Coesfeld district. For the first time he was elected district administrator on September 26, 2004, he received 56.6% of the votes in the first ballot. On August 30, 2009, he was re-elected in the first ballot with 63.3% of the vote.

Before that, he was head of the social affairs, care and rehabilitation department of the Westphalia-Lippe regional association as the state administrative director .

Püning is married, has two grown children and lives in Lüdinghausen- Seppenrade .
