Hans Pixa

Hans Pixa (born May 18, 1954 in Emmerich ) is a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ).

Life

After graduating from high school in 1972, Pixa was a soldier , later a reserve officer of the army (major of the reserve). He studied law and political science at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . During his studies he was an assistant to the German Bundestag and the European Parliament . After passing the second state examination in law, he worked as a lawyer until 1984.

After twenty years of full-time engagement in politics, he has been working as a lawyer and partner in a consulting company since 2004.

Hans Pixa is married and has two sons. He has been a member of the Catholic student association KDSt.V. since he began his studies in 1974 . Alania Bonn in the CV .

In 1984 he became first alderman in Schleiden in the Eifel , district of Euskirchen , in North Rhine-Westphalia ; In 1987 he became city director there . In 1991 he moved to Detmold as district director of the Lippe district .

In 1992 he was elected chief district director and in 1999 the first full-time district administrator of the Coesfeld district. He was officially involved in numerous committees, such as in the landscape assembly of the Westphalia-Lippe Regional Association , as chairman of the Westphalian-Lippian Savings Banks and Giro Association , as a member of the supervisory bodies of WestLB , the NRW.Bank , the Westphalian Provincial , the Sparkasse Westmünsterland . In 2004, with his recommendation, Konrad Püning was elected as district administrator.

Pixa was chairman of the CDU in Coesfeld from 2005 to 2011. From 2000 to 2010 he was chairman of the local political association of the CDU and CSU Germany (KPV) in the Münsterland district and during this time a member of the board of the KPV state board of North Rhine-Westphalia, most recently as deputy state chairman.

Since December 14th, 2009 Pixa has been the 2nd Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sparkasse Westmünsterland .

Volunteering

Hans Pixa has been a member of the Rotary International service organization since 1993 . In 2007, the members elected him to the district leadership of District 1870. Pixa was Governor of Rotary District 1870 in the Rotarian year 2009/2010. At the same time, he was spokesman for the German-speaking governor crew, ie the governor of all German, Austrian and Swiss districts. In 2010/2011, Hans Pixa took on the role of Chairman of the German Governor Council.
