Konrad Petrides
Konrad Petrides (born February 11, 1864 in Vienna ; † March 30, 1944 there ) was a Viennese landscape and stage painter.
Life
He worked in Hermann Burghart 's studio . Postcards were also made after his landscapes, especially from Lower Austria, East Tyrol and South Tyrol.
He was a member of the Dürerbund , whose silver medal he received in 1919. In 1904 he was awarded a gold medal at the World Exhibition in St. Louis, USA . He worked u. a. for Johann Kautsky's company Brioschi, Burghart and Kautsky, kuk court theater painter in Vienna .
Konrad Petrides was the father of the writer Margarete Petrides .
