Konrad Streiter

Konrad Streiter (born August 22, 1947 ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and former regional councilor in Tyrol .

Streiter is a trained master locksmith and later became managing director of Elektra-Bregenz in Vomp . He lives in Vomp, Schwaz district .

Political career

Streiter is a member of the Tyrolean People's Party (regional group of the ÖVP), was a councilor in Vomp, from 1990 to 1993 mayor of the municipality of Vomp , and ÖVP district party chairman of Schwaz. From September 24, 1993 to December 31, 2005, Streiter was a regional councilor in Tyrol. In the second government of Governor Herwig van Staa , he was responsible for housing, water law, security, fire services, statistics, buildings, defense and disaster control. On December 19, 2005, Streiter announced his resignation as member of the state council.

He then received a consulting contract with the state-owned Tiroler Wasserkraft AG ( TIWAG ). This is criticized as a supply post.
