Konstantin Stepanowitsch Jelissejew ( Russian Константи́н Степа́нович Елисе́ев ; born March 13, 1890 in Saint Petersburg , Russian Empire ; died July 10, 1968 in Moscow ) was a Russian-Soviet graphic artist.

Life

Yelissejew was the author of satirical drawings for newspapers and magazines. From the early 1920s he created caricatures about political and everyday problems. He was also a book illustrator, including for the library of the crocodile series . During the Second World War he drew cartoons for the magazine Front-Humor . From 1948 he took part in exhibitions at home and abroad.
