Contexts. New contributions to historical and systematic theology is an interdisciplinary theological book series. It was founded by the systematic theologian Johannes Wirsching , Church University Berlin-Zehlendorf, and published until his death. During this time 37 volumes were published by Verlag Peter Lang , Frankfurt (Main). With volume 38 the series changed to Edition Ruprecht , Göttingen. It is now being published by the Protestant theologians Jörg Lauster , University of Marburg, and Bernd Oberdorfer , University of Augsburg.
