The Korff Ice Rise is a 300 m high ice dome off the Zumberge coast of the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the southwest Filchner-Ronne Ice Shelf, it rises 80 km east-northeast of the Skytrain Ice Rise with a length of 130 km and a width of 30 km.
He was discovered by a US team exploring the Ellsworthland during the International Geophysical Year (1957-1958). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after Serge Alexander Korff (1906-1989), deputy chairman of the technical committee on cosmic rays in the US committee for the International Geophysical Year.
