The Kosco Peak is a 1650 m high, striking and rocky mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Heritage Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, it looms between the Drake Icefall and the Hyde Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after the topography engineer William J.
