Krabathor is a death metal band from Uherské Hradiště , Czech Republic .

history

The band was founded in 1984 under the name "Krabator" (without h), but it took another four years until the first demo . This makes Krabathor, together with Vader, one of the oldest death metal bands in Eastern Europe .

The first two albums were released on the Czech label Monitor Records . The sales of the two albums extended almost exclusively to the former Eastern Bloc countries.

From the album Lies onwards, the band was under contract with the East German label Morbid Records , which they have since split up.

In 1999 the band separated from longtime singer Bruno, who founded the music group Hypnös with new people . Paul Speckmann joined Krabathor for him .

Some members of Krabathor formed the band Martyr , which came up with an album called Murder X: The End of the Game .
