The Devin Power Plant is a hydropower plant in Smolyan Oblast , Bulgaria . It has an installed capacity of 80  MW . The power plant uses the water from the Teschel power plant, which is about 10 km away, to generate electricity. The town of Dewin is about 2 km northwest of the power plant.

The power plant is owned by Nazionalna elektritscheska kompanija EAD (NEK EAD) and is also operated by NEK EAD.

The power plant went into operation in 1984 and serves to cover peak loads . It has an installed capacity of 80  MW . The average annual production is 145 million  kWh . The 2 Francis turbines each produce 40 MW; they are located in an above-ground machine house.

The water is directed from the Teschel power plant to the Dewin power plant , which is about 10 km away. The height of fall is 156 m and the maximum flow is a total of 72.8 m³ / s.
