The Guillermo Céspedes power plant ( Spanish Central hidroeléctrica Guillermo Céspedes ) is a hydropower plant in the province of Río Negro , Argentina . It is about 10 km southwest of the village of Pomona .

South of the city of Coronel Belisle , water is branched off from the Río Negro through a right-hand canal and directed to the power plant's machine house. After the water has passed the turbines of the power plant, it is returned to the Río Negro through another channel.

The power plant went into operation on October 6, 1963. The installed capacity is 5.52 MW . The two generators each have a maximum output of 3.3  MVA . The maximum flow is 52 m³ / s.
