The power plant Julián Romero ( Spanish Central hidroeléctrica Julián Romero ) is a hydroelectric power plant in the province of Río Negro , Argentina . It is located on the eastern edge of the city of Cinco Saltos on a canal that branches off from the Río Neuquén at the village of Barda del Medio . The Cipolletti power station is about 10 km down the canal .

The installed power of the power plant with two turbines is 5.52  MW . The average annual production is 40 million  kWh . The fall height is 13.67 m. The maximum flow is 55 m³ / s.
