The Los Quiroga power plant ( Spanish Central hidroeléctrica Los Quiroga ) is a hydroelectric power plant in the province of Santiago del Estero , Argentina . It is located about 12 km northwest of the city of La Banda on a canal that branches off from the Río Dulce about 6 km northwest of the power station .

The power plant was commissioned in 1963. The installed capacity of the power plant is 2 MW . The average annual generation is given as 7.7 (or 8, 8.6 or 11.3) million  kWh . The annual production fluctuates: in 1989 it was 4.3 million kWh and in 1983 it was 10.8 million kWh.

The two Kaplan turbines each have a maximum output of 1 MW and the generators each 1.25  MVA . The nominal speed of the turbines is 150 / min. The fall height is between 4.2 and 5.4 m. The maximum flow is 60 m³ / s.
