The Martin Lake power plant is a lignite power plant with a total capacity of 2,250 MW in Tatum, Texas . From 1977 to 1979 Tugco completed three blocks, each with an output of 793 MW. All units were equipped with a flue gas desulphurisation system from Research-Cottrell from the start .
The power plant is supplied with coal via a factory railway .
