The Sendje power plant is a hydroelectric power plant in the Litoral Province , Equatorial Guinea , which is currently being built on the Wele . The capital Bata is about 40 km northeast of the power plant.
Reservoir
With a normal storage target of 88 m, the reservoir extends over an area of around 21.57 km² and holds 60 million m³ of water.

Construction of the power plant began in February 2012. After completion, it will have an installed capacity of 200 MW . The 4 Francis turbines of the power plant will each have a maximum output of 50 MW. The average annual production will be 1.402 billion kWh .
In the switchgear , the generator voltage is increased to 220 kV using power transformers. The drop height is 67.5 m.
