Hospital Church Pius V (Regensburg)
The catholic listed hospital church Pius V stands on the grounds of the hospital of the Barmherzigen Brüder in the Prüfinger Straße 86 in the western part of Regensburg .
history
The church was built in 1927/29 by Albert Boßlet .
building
The church is a hall building with a transom-shaped choir tower and a flat roof on the side. In the church there has been a memorial with a chapel and a small exhibition room about the hospital's founder, Frater Eustachius Kugler , since 2008 .
organ
The organ is an instrument with an electric diaphragm made by Friedrich Meier . The 20 registers are distributed over two manuals and a pedal .
