Krashkarma (also Krash Karma ) is a hard rock / metal band from Los Angeles, founded in 2005 .

history

The group was founded in 2005 under the name Suicide Holiday in Los Angeles . Until the renaming of the band, which has called itself Krashkarma since 2008 , the group released 3 EPs and 2 studio albums. The band also organized themselves to find a concert. The formation managed 12 national tours, one European tour and a few concerts on African soil.

The group's rapid success could not be overlooked, so that in December 2007 the band received the Rock City News Award for Best Independent Tour Band . The band's founder is Ralf Dietel , who was previously guitarist for Nine Inch Nails for 30 days . In 2010 Dietel also took part in several concerts by the German punk band WIZO . Dietel is a native German . He also played at concerts with bands such as Foo Fighters and Rammstein . Other musicians in the founding line-up are Nicole Skistimas ( drums ), Zak Bowman ( guitar ) and Nic Nifoussi ( bass ).

In 2009 the band released their first EP under a new name, called Seven Deadly Sounds . This was followed by the Seven Deadly Tour through the USA and parts of Africa . New songs were already written during the tour, so work on the new album could begin after the tour ended. In the summer of 2010 the band flew to Germany for the work . In October of the same year, Straight To Blood was released through Sony Music . In the US, the album will be released in June 2011. The EMI label is responsible for the release in the United States . In March 2011, the band toured the United States to promote the album to be released. At the end of March 2011, the band announced that they had recorded guitarist Elias Tannous, who was released on February 15, 2011 at Save Our Souls .

Dietel and Skistimas are now touring as a duo through North America and Europe as "White Stripes of Metal". The specialty here is Ralf Dietel's configured guitar, which in addition to a guitar socket also contains a socket and a pickup for electric bass. So he plays guitar and bass at the same time with one instrument. The guitar is presented as Mrs. Frankenstein at concerts.
