The volcanic bay is a bay on the northeast side of Leskov Iceland in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands . Your entrance is limited to the north by Bowsprit Point and to the south by Rudder Point .
Participants in the Second German Antarctic Expedition (1911–1912) mapped them. Expedition leader Wilhelm Filchner named it so because its formation is the result of a volcanic eruption .
