District court Sondershausen
The (joint) district court Sondershausen was a joint intermediate court of several Thuringian small states from July 1, 1850 to 1879, with its seat in Sondershausen .
The district court of Sondershausen was responsible for the following areas:
1) Principality of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt
In Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt it was responsible for the Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt subordination . Subordinate to it were:
- Justice Office Frankenhausen I (until 1853)
- Justice Office Frankenhausen II (until 1853)
- Justice Office Frankenhausen (1853–1879)
- Justice Office Commission Schlotheim

3) Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach
It was subordinate to the (joint) Court of Appeal in Eisenach and then to the Higher Appeal Court in Jena .
The court consisted of a director, two district judges and an assessor. One of the district judges was appointed by Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt.
As part of the introduction of the Reich Justice Laws , the Sondershausen District Court was dissolved in 1879 and its tasks were distributed among various regional courts, mainly the Rudolstadt Regional Court .
