history

Since the 19th century, Kreuzweingarten-Rheder formed a rural community in the Euskirchen district; initially as part of the mayor's office in Wachendorf and after the Second World War as part of the Amt of Satzvey-Wachendorf-Enzen. Until 1934, the official name of the community was Weingarten-Rheder . On July 1, 1969, the municipality was incorporated into the city of Euskirchen by the law to reorganize the district of Euskirchen .
