Kreuzweingarten-Rheder was a municipality in the Euskirchen district in North Rhine-Westphalia until 1969 . Today Kreuzweingarten-Rheder is a district of the city of Euskirchen in the district of Euskirchen.

Kreuzweingarten-Rheder consists of the two villages Kreuzweingarten and Rheder , which are located in the south of the Euskirchen city area and are about one kilometer apart. Both villages are now separate districts of the city of Euskirchen. The former municipality of Kreuzweingarten-Rheder had an area of 3.86 km².

history

Since the 19th century, Kreuzweingarten-Rheder formed a rural community in the Euskirchen district; initially as part of the mayor's office in Wachendorf and after the Second World War as part of the Amt of Satzvey-Wachendorf-Enzen. Until 1934, the official name of the community was Weingarten-Rheder . On July 1, 1969, the municipality was incorporated into the city of Euskirchen by the law to reorganize the district of Euskirchen .
